Acclaimed Pakistani actor Saba Qamar was urgently admitted to Quaid-e-Azam International Hospital in Rawalpindi after falling seriously ill during the shooting of a major production.
Sources close to the incident revealed that filming was brought to an immediate halt when Saba experienced sudden health complications. She was quickly moved to the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU), where doctors carried out emergency procedures, including an angiography, to assess her condition.
Medical professionals described her state upon arrival as critical, with immediate intervention required to prevent life-threatening complications. Fortunately, the procedures were successful, and after stabilizing under intensive medical supervision, she was transferred to a private VIP room for continued care.
The health crisis has been linked to intense physical and mental stress, reportedly caused by a demanding shooting schedule. Insiders say the actor had been under immense pressure due to back-to-back filming commitments without sufficient rest.
Doctors have attributed the episode to extreme fatigue and overwork, strongly advising Saba to take a complete break from all professional engagements. She has since been discharged from the hospital but has been instructed to rest for several weeks and avoid any strenuous activity to ensure a full recovery.
Fans and industry peers have taken to social media to express their concern, sending well wishes and prayers for her speedy return to health.
