While in Washington, D.C., Field Marshal Munir engaged in discussions with prominent scholars, strategic analysts, policy makers, and members of the international press. The high-level dialogues focused on a range of pressing regional and global security concerns.

Underscoring Pakistan’s steadfast dedication to peace and stability in the region, Field Marshal Munir also spoke about critical national efforts such as the “Battle for Truth” and the military’s Operation Bunyān Marsūs. He addressed how certain regional actors continue to fuel terrorism under the guise of hybrid warfare strategies, seeking to destabilize the region.

In his meetings, the Field Marshal reiterated Pakistan’s firm position on terrorism, calling attention to the threats posed by externally backed militant networks. He also reflected on the enduring bilateral relationship between Pakistan and the United States.

ISPR reported that Field Marshal Munir advocated for a broader and deeper partnership between the two nations, built on mutual strategic interests and enhanced economic cooperation. He outlined Pakistan’s views on various regional conflicts and global challenges, urging collaborative approaches to security and development.

Highlighting Pakistan’s role as a responsible stakeholder, he noted that the country is actively working to defuse regional tensions and promote a framework for cooperative security. He emphasized that Pakistan’s contributions go beyond military measures and include diplomatic and developmental efforts.

Field Marshal Munir also spotlighted investment and collaboration opportunities in Pakistan, particularly in sectors like information technology, agriculture, minerals, and natural resources. He extended an open invitation to global partners to explore these areas for shared economic growth and prosperity.

Attendees at the session commended Field Marshal Munir for his forthright and clear articulation of Pakistan’s strategic outlook. His message was recognized as a reflection of Islamabad’s consistent and principled foreign policy rooted in peaceful coexistence and transparent diplomacy.

According to ISPR, the engagements in Washington are part of Pakistan’s ongoing efforts to strengthen international partnerships and reaffirm its commitment to global peace and security.
