Veteran Actor Rashid Mahmood Assaulted and Robbed After Road Incident in Rahim Yar Khan

Renowned Pakistani actor Rashid Mahmood was assaulted and robbed following a road mishap in Rahim Yar Khan, in an incident that has raised concerns about public safety in the region.

The veteran actor shared details of the troubling event through a video message recorded from Rajanpur. Appearing with visible injuries to his face, Rashid recounted the incident, which began when a motorcycle crashed into his car at high speed. Although the motorcyclists were thrown off their bike, they did not suffer any major injuries.

However, the situation quickly escalated. According to Rashid, a group of men gathered at the scene and began blaming him for the accident. The confrontation soon turned violent. “I was shocked and scared. The bike hit me, but I never imagined what would happen next,” he said in his message.

Rashid explained that amid the chaos, he was physically attacked and robbed. His wallet, national identity card, and other personal belongings were taken during the assault.

The actor is now calling on authorities to address the incident seriously and to improve safety measures, especially in areas where law enforcement presence is limited. He emphasized the need for better protection for all citizens, not just public figures, who travel through remote or less secure parts of the country.

The incident has sparked concern and outrage on social media, with fans and fellow actors expressing support for Rashid Mahmood and urging swift action from law enforcement.
