Unreleased music and confidential materials belonging to global music icon Beyoncé were stolen from a rental vehicle in Atlanta just days before her scheduled performances in the city, according to a police report.
The theft occurred on July 8, when Beyoncé’s choreographer, Christopher Grant, and dancer Diandre Blue parked their rented 2024 Jeep Wagoneer near a local food hall. They returned to find the rear window smashed and two suitcases missing. Inside those bags were five thumb drives containing unreleased Beyoncé tracks, exclusive performance footage, tour set lists, and personal information related to the singer.
The break-in took place just ahead of Beyoncé’s four-night residency at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium, part of her sold-out “Cowboy Carter” world tour. The last of the Atlanta shows was scheduled for Monday evening.
In addition to the stolen thumb drives, two MacBook laptops, Apple headphones, designer clothing, and high-end accessories were also reported missing.
According to the Atlanta Police Department, surveillance footage captured the incident, and officers have identified a suspect vehicle—a 2025 red Hyundai Elantra. Investigators also recovered light fingerprints at the scene and used location-tracking tools to search for the stolen electronic devices.
An arrest warrant has been issued for a suspect, though police have yet to release their identity.
Beyoncé’s “Cowboy Carter” tour, which launched in late April, is a major international event celebrating her latest Grammy-winning album. The tour will conclude with two shows in Las Vegas later this month.
