Teen Star Nooray Zeeshan Reflects on Criticism and Choosing an Unconventional Path

At just 15 years old, rising actress Nooray Zeeshan has already made a bold choice—she’s left behind the traditional classroom to pursue her passion for acting, opting instead for private studies at home. In a recent heartfelt interview, Nooray opened up about the harsh criticism she faced from her teachers and the challenges she encountered while juggling her education and budding career.

School, she admits, was never a place where she felt she belonged. “I never really enjoyed school,” Nooray confessed. “I wasn’t on good terms with any of my teachers.” For her, the environment was not only academically unfulfilling but emotionally difficult. She described how some educators strongly disapproved of her career in showbiz, suggesting that her involvement in the entertainment industry was damaging to the school’s reputation.

“They told me to leave acting,” she recalled. “They said it was giving the school a bad name.” The criticism didn’t stop there—some teachers even questioned her values and mocked her career choices. Alongside this, she endured bullying from older students, which only intensified her sense of alienation.

These experiences led Nooray to question the role of conventional education in her life. Rather than seeing school as a place of growth, she found herself stifled. “I feel like I can learn much more through real-world experiences,” she said, expressing a belief that learning isn’t limited to textbooks or classrooms.

Despite stepping away from a traditional school setting, Nooray hasn’t abandoned her education. With strong support from her mother, she’s continuing her studies at home and sitting for private exams. “My mom wants me to complete my education, and I’m doing that—just in my own way,” she explained.

The young actress also shared how she handles her earnings from acting, saying that her income is managed by her mother. “She takes care of it all, but gives me money whenever I need it,” Nooray said with a smile.

While the journey hasn’t been easy, Nooray’s openness and strength have resonated with fans, many of whom have applauded her maturity and courage. “She’s so self-aware for her age,” one viewer commented. Another praised her confidence, calling her “beautiful inside and out.”

Nooray’s story has sparked broader discussions about how schools treat students who choose alternative career paths, especially in fields like acting that fall outside the academic norm.

As she continues to balance her artistic pursuits and academic goals, Nooray Zeeshan stands as an example of a young person forging her own path—with resilience, honesty, and a vision for learning that goes beyond the classroom.
