Parvez Elahi Urges National Unity, Says All Institutions Must Act for Pakistan’s Future

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) President and former Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi has emphasized that the responsibility for the country’s current political and economic challenges lies not just with politicians, but with all national institutions.

Speaking during a visit to the residence of late senior politician Mian Azhar to offer condolences to his son, PTI leader Hammad Azhar, Elahi underscored the need for collective accountability and cooperation for the country’s stability.

“All institutions must rise above differences and play their part for the sake of Pakistan,” Elahi stated, urging unity during these turbulent times.

He fondly remembered Mian Azhar, calling him “a symbol of integrity and dedication” who served the nation with honesty and remained a close political ally for over three decades.

Several PTI leaders, including Rasikh Elahi and Punjab Assembly Secretary Mian Khan Bhatti, accompanied Elahi during the condolence visit. Elahi offered prayers for the late Mian Azhar, expressing hope for his elevated place in the hereafter.

Elahi’s comments come amid growing concerns over political polarization and institutional distrust in the country. His call for a shared national effort reflects a broader sentiment within PTI leadership for collaborative solutions to Pakistan’s ongoing crises.
