Maryam Nafees: “Husbands Can Also Be Considered Children”

Popular Pakistani actress Maryam Nafees recently shared a light-hearted yet thought-provoking perspective during a television interview, stating that—technically speaking—husbands can be seen as children too, since wives often end up caring for them in a similar way.

While discussing her views on a talk show, Maryam mentioned that although online criticism doesn’t usually bother her, certain inappropriate comments can still be hurtful. She acknowledged that many of those who criticize celebrities on social media are often dealing with personal frustrations and use harsh comments as an emotional outlet.

Maryam also praised her husband for his active involvement in parenting, highlighting that this behavior is a positive trend in today’s society. “My husband is not like the typical ones,” she said, expressing gratitude for his support in taking care of children.

Humorously reflecting on family dynamics, Maryam said that having one daughter and one son is ideal for her. But if a husband is considered a child as well, she jokingly added, “then it’s like having three kids.”

Her remarks sparked conversation and amusement, as many viewers related to the humorous truth in her observations.
