Tri-Nation T20I Series Schedule Announced for Pakistan, Afghanistan, and UAETournament to be held in Sharjah

From August 29 to September Pakistan is set to compete in a T20I tri-nation series alongside Afghanistan and the United Arab Emirates, scheduled to take place at Sharjah Cricket Stadium from August 29 to September 7.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed the series in an official statement, highlighting that the tournament will serve as vital preparation for the upcoming ACC Men’s T20 Asia Cup, which begins in the UAE on September 9.

The tri-series will follow a double round-robin format, with each team playing the others twice during the group stage. The top two sides will advance to the final on September 7. All matches are scheduled to begin at 7:00 PM Pakistan Standard Time (PST).

Full Schedule of the Tri-Nation T20I Series:

  • August 29: Afghanistan vs Pakistan
  • August 30: UAE vs Pakistan
  • September 1: UAE vs Afghanistan
  • September 2: Pakistan vs Afghanistan
  • September 4: Pakistan vs UAE
  • September 5: Afghanistan vs UAE
  • September 7: Final (Top two teams)

This series offers a competitive build-up to the Asia Cup 2025, which features eight teams and will also be contested in the T20 format. The Asia Cup acts as a key warm-up event ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup 2026, set to be co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka.

Pakistan will kick off their Asia Cup campaign on September 12 against Oman, with their final group-stage match scheduled for September 17 against the UAE.
