Pakistan Champions Outclass West Indies in World Championship of Legends Clash

Pakistan Champions registered an emphatic 49-run victory over West Indies Champions in the World Championship of Legends, claiming their third win of the tournament with a dominant all-round display in Leeds.

Batting first, Pakistan set a daunting target of 200 runs for the loss of just four wickets. The star of the innings was veteran wicketkeeper-batter Kamran Akmal, who turned back the clock with a scintillating century. His explosive knock of 113 off 62 balls featured 13 boundaries and five towering sixes, anchoring Pakistan’s innings with flair and aggression.

Chasing 201, the West Indies Champions struggled to keep up with the required run rate. Pakistan’s bowling attack, led by the clinical Rumman Raees, dismantled the Caribbean side’s batting lineup. Raees produced a match-winning spell, conceding only four runs while picking up three crucial wickets, effectively sealing the contest.

West Indies were restricted to 151 for 7 by the end of their 20 overs, falling well short of the target. Pakistan’s bowlers maintained tight lines and length, never allowing the opposition to settle.

This comprehensive win consolidates Pakistan’s strong position in the tournament standings and adds further momentum to their campaign as they aim for a spot in the knockout stages.
