Gold Prices Drop by Rs. 2,300 Per Tola in Pakistan

On the fifth business day of the week, a decline in gold prices was recorded across the country.

According to the Sarafa Bazaar Association, the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs. 2,300, bringing it down to Rs. 356,700.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold fell by Rs. 1,972, now priced at Rs. 305,812.

In a previous drop, gold had become cheaper by Rs. 2,500, bringing the per tola rate down to Rs. 353,000.

On the other hand, the interbank market saw a 0.27% improvement in the value of the Pakistani Rupee against the US Dollar on Friday.

By the end of the trading session, the Rupee appreciated by 77 paisas, closing at Rs. 283.45 against the Dollar.

It is worth noting that the local currency had closed at Rs. 284.22 on Thursday.
