Saudi Arabia Assists Iranian Pilgrims Returning Home Through Jadidat Arar Border Crossing

Following the peaceful conclusion of the 1446 AH Hajj season, Saudi authorities have stepped up efforts to ensure the safe and organized return of Iranian pilgrims through the Jadidat Arar border crossing, located in the Northern Borders Region.

The General Directorate of Passports announced the deployment of both personnel and technical resources at the crossing point to support the departure of Iranian nationals. The move comes amid heightened regional tensions and aims to facilitate a smooth and respectful transition for pilgrims returning to Iran.

“All necessary services have been activated to streamline the exit process,” the directorate said in an official statement, adding that operations are being conducted in close coordination with relevant agencies.

Saudi Arabia’s support at the border reflects the kingdom’s ongoing commitment to managing the annual pilgrimage with efficiency and care for all participants, regardless of nationality. The initiative has been particularly welcomed given the current situation in Iran, offering a safe and dignified route home for pilgrims following their spiritual journey.
